On 19 Dec 1895 Rainald Knightley 1st Baron Knightley (age 76) died without issue. Baron Knightley of Fawsley in Northamptonshire extinct. His first cousin Valentine Knightley 4th Baronet (age 83) succeeded 4th Baronet Knightley of Fawsley.
