Siege of Roxburgh

Siege of Roxburgh is in 1459-1461 Wars of the Roses: Second War. See Roxburgh Castle.

On 03 Aug 1460 King James II of Scotland (age 29) was killed accidentally when a cannon exploded and he was hit by debris. He was buried at Holyrood Abbey, Holyrood. His son King James III of Scotland (age 9) succeeded III King Scotland.
