On 23 Apr 1502 Prince Arthur's funeral was held at St Laurence's Church, Ludlow presided over by William Smyth Bishop of Lincoln 1460-1514 (42). George Grey 2nd Earl Kent 1454-1505 (48), George Talbot 4th Earl Shrewsbury, 4th Earl Waterford 1468-1538 (34), Richard Grey 3rd Earl Kent 1481-1524 (21), John Grey 2nd Baron Grey Powis 1485-1504 (17) and Richard Pole 1462-1504 (40) attended. Thomas Howard 2nd Duke Norfolk 1443-1524 (59) was Chief Mourner. Edward Howard 1476-1513 (26) and Robert Radclyffe 1st Earl of Sussex 1483-1542 (19) carried The Canopy.
On 22 Feb 1574 Ambrosia Sidney -1574 died. Her father Henry Sidney KG 1529-1586 (45) was President of the Council of the Marches in Wales and resided at Ludlow Castle, Ludlow. Monument in St Laurence's Church, Ludlow with her father's (45) arms top middle as follows: Sidney, Clunford, Barrington, Mercy, differenced with an escarbuncle, Chetwyn, Belhouse (the lions should be shown between three black cross-croslets), and (the lion's crown should be per pale gules and Argent).

On 30 Jun 1958 Princess Margaret 1930-2002 (27) unvieled a tablet to commemorate the restoration of St Laurence's Church, Ludlow.
On 15 May 2001 Princess Anne Windsor 1950- visited St Laurence's Church, Ludlow to celebrate 21 years of restoration work and to commemorate th e800th anniversary of its first rebuilding.
