His son [his son] John Villiers Stuart Townshend 5th Marquess Townshend (age 32) succeeded 5th Marquess Townshend, 8th Viscount Townsend, 8th Baron Townshend of Lynn Regis in Norfolk, 10th Baronet Townshend.
