Before 1067 Richard Fitzscrope 1st Baron Burford (age 52) was created 1st Baron Burford Feudal. The date of the creation, or whether it existed at all, is in doubt. Possibly pre-Norman.
After 1067 Richard Fitzscrope 1st Baron Burford (age 52) died at Richard's Castle, Herefordshire [Map]. His son Osbern St John 2nd Baron Burford (age 27) succeeded 2nd Baron Burford Feudal.
In 1100 Osbern St John 2nd Baron Burford (age 60) died at Ludlow, Shropshire [Map]. His son Hugh Fitzosbern 3rd Baron Burford (age 20) succeeded 3rd Baron Burford Feudal.
In 1140 Hugh Fitzosbern 3rd Baron Burford (age 60) died. His son Hugh Say 4th Baron Burford (age 4) succeeded 4th Baron Burford Feudal.
Around 1191 Hugh Say 4th Baron Burford (age 55) died at Richard's Castle, Herefordshire [Map]. His son Hugh Say 5th Baron Burford (age 30) succeeded 5th Baron Burford Feudal.
In 1197 Hugh Ferrers 6th Baron Burford (age 30) and Margaret Say 6th Baroness Burford (age 15) were married. She by marriage Lord Lechalde. He by marriage Baron Burford Feudal.
In 1197 Hugh Say 5th Baron Burford (age 36) died at Richard's Castle, Herefordshire [Map]. His daughter Margaret Say 6th Baroness Burford (age 15) succeeded 6th Baroness Burford Feudal.
