After 1636 Philip Stanhope 1st Earl Chesterfield (age 52) and Anne Pakington Countess Chesterfield (age 37) were married. She by marriage Countess Chesterfield.
In 1652 Philip Stanhope 2nd Earl Chesterfield (age 18) and Anne Percy 2nd Countess Chesterfield (age 17) were married. She by marriage Countess Chesterfield. She the daughter of Algernon Percy 10th Earl of Northumberland (age 49) and Anne Cecil. He the son of Henry Stanhope and Katherine Wotton Countess Chesterfield (age 43).

On 20 Aug 1777 Philip Stanhope 5th Earl Chesterfield (age 21) and Anne Thistlewayte 5th Countess Chesterfield were married. She by marriage Countess Chesterfield.

On 21 Jan 1887 Henry Edwyn Chandos Scudamore Stanhope 9th Earl of Chesterfield (age 65) died at Victoria Hotel. His son Edwyn Scudamore Stanhope 10th Earl of Chesterfield (age 32) succeeded 10th Earl Chesterfield, 10th Baron Stanhope of Shelford in Nottinghamshire, 4th Baronet Stanhope of Stanwell.
On 15 Feb 1900 Edwyn Scudamore Stanhope 10th Earl of Chesterfield (age 45) and Enid Edith Wilson Countess Chesterfield (age 21) were married at St Mark's Church North Audley Street. On 02 Nov 1935 Henry Scudamore-Stanhope 11th Earl of Chesterfield (age 80) died. His nephew Edward Henry Scudamore-Stanhope 12th Earl Chesterfield succeeded 12th Earl Chesterfield, 12th Baron Stanhope of Shelford in Nottinghamshire, 6th Baronet Stanhope of Stanwell.
On 02 Aug 1952 Edward Henry Scudamore-Stanhope 12th Earl Chesterfield died. His seventh cousin once removed James Richard Stanhope 7th Earl Stanhope 13th Earl Chesterfield (age 71) succeeded 13th Earl Chesterfield, 13th Baron Stanhope of Shelford in Nottinghamshire, 7th Baronet Stanhope of Stanwell although he didn't claim the titles.
