Biography of Albert Way 1805-1874

Albert Way 1805-1874 is in Antiquaries.

In 1801 [his father] Lewis Way (age 28) and [his mother] Mary Drewe were married. They had nine children: three sons and six daughters.

On 23 Jun 1805 Albert Way was born to Lewis Way (age 33) and Mary Drewe at Bath, Somerset [Map].

In 1839 Albert Way (age 33) was elected Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.

In 1840 [his father] Lewis Way (age 67) died.

In 1842 Albert Way (age 36) was appointed Director of the Society of Antiquaries of London which position he held until 1846.

In 1843 Albert Way (age 37) and Charles Roach Smith were appointed Joint Honorary Secretary of the British Archaeological Association.

On 22 Mar 1874 Albert Way (age 68) died.
