Biography of Archdeacon John Mullins -1591

In 1541 Archdeacon John Mullins was a Fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford University.

In 1553 Archdeacon John Mullins left for Zurich and Frankfurt.

In 1559 Archdeacon John Mullins was appointed Archdeacon of London and Canon at St Paul's Cathedral [Map].

Henry Machyn's Diary. 05 May 1560. The v day of May dyd pryche at Powlles crosse [Map] master Mollens archedeyken of London, and he mad a goodly sermon, and ther was my lord mare and the althermen, and grett audyense was ther.

In Feb 1561 Archdeacon John Mullins was collated to the rectory of Theydon Garnon.

In May 1577 Archdeacon John Mullins was collated to the rectory of Bocking, Essex [Map]. In Oct 1583 he was made Dean of Bocking, Essex [Map] along with Bishop John Still (age 43).

In Jun 1591 Archdeacon John Mullins died.
