River Hamble is in Solent.
The River Hamble rises south of Bishop's Waltham [Map] from where it flows past Durley Mill Bishops Waltham [Map], Madddoxford, Hampshire [Map], Botley, Hampshire [Map], Curbridge, Hampshire [Map], Burlesden, Hampshire [Map] to Hamble le Rice, Hampshire [Map] where it joins the Solent.

Note 1. This entry somewaht confusing since the Grace Dieu had been laid up in the River Hamble around 1430 and, having been struck by lightning burned to the water-line in 1439?
