In 1627 Walter Aston 1st Baronet (age 43) was created 1st Baronet Aston of Forfar. The title appears to have been created with a special remainder to heirs male of Edward Aston and his brother William Aston of Milwich (age 72) since when the 5th Baronet died a descendant of William Aston of Milwich (age 72) succeeded.
