She the daughter of [his grandfather] Henry Herbert 1st Earl Powis and [his grandmother] Barbara Herbert Countess Powis (age 48). She a great x 3 granddaughter of King James II of England Scotland and Ireland.
On 22 Mar 1785 Edward Herbert 2nd Earl Powis was born to Edward Clive 1st Earl Powis (age 31) and Henrietta Antonia Herbert 3rd Countess Powis (age 26).
On 16 Jan 1801 [his uncle] George Edward Henry Arthur Herbert 2nd Earl Powis (age 45) died at York House Hotel Albermarle Street. He was buried at St Mary's Church, Welshpool. Earl Powis extinct. In 1784 his sister [his mother] Henrietta Antonia Herbert 3rd Countess Powis (age 42) had married [his father] Edward Clive 1st Earl Powis (age 46) who was created Earl Powis in 1784.

On 09 Feb 1818 Edward Herbert 2nd Earl Powis (age 32) and Lucy Graham Countess Powis (age 24) were married. She the daughter of James Graham 3rd Duke Montrose (age 62) and Caroline Maria Montagu Duchess Montrose. He the son of Edward Clive 1st Earl Powis (age 63) and Henrietta Antonia Herbert 3rd Countess Powis (age 59). He a great x 4 grandson of King James II of England Scotland and Ireland.
On 05 Nov 1818 [his son] Edward Herbert 3rd Earl Powis was born to Edward Herbert 2nd Earl Powis (age 33) and [his wife] Lucy Graham Countess Powis (age 25) at The Angel Hotel, Pershore.
On 15 Apr 1822 [his son] Percy Egerton Herbert was born to Edward Herbert 2nd Earl Powis (age 37) and [his wife] Lucy Graham Countess Powis (age 28) at Powis Castle.
On 25 Nov 1825 [his son] George Herbert was born to Edward Herbert 2nd Earl Powis (age 40) and [his wife] Lucy Graham Countess Powis (age 32). He was educated at Eton College [Map] and St John's College, Cambridge University [Map].
On 02 Aug 1826 George Finch 9th Earl Winchilsea 4th Earl Nottingham (age 73) died unmarried without legitimate issue. His first cousin once removed George Finch-Hatton 5th Earl Nottingham 10th Earl Winchilsea (age 35) succeeded 5th Earl Nottingham, 10th Earl Winchilsea, 10th Viscount Maidstone, 6th Baron Finch Daventry, 11th Baronet Finch of Eastwell in Kent. [his sister-in-law] Georgiana Charlotte Graham Countess Nottingham Winchelsea (age 32) by marriage Countess Nottingham, Countess Winchilsea. His illegitimate son George Finch (age 31) inherited his manors at Burley-on-the-Hill House and Ravenstone, Buckinghamshire.
On 24 Jun 1827 [his son] Robert Charles Herbert was born to Edward Herbert 2nd Earl Powis (age 42) and [his wife] Lucy Graham Countess Powis (age 33) at Powis Castle.
On 03 Jun 1830 [his mother] Henrietta Antonia Herbert 3rd Countess Powis (age 71) died.
On 13 Feb 1835 [his sister-in-law] Georgiana Charlotte Graham Countess Nottingham Winchelsea (age 41) died at Haverholme Priory, Lincolnshire [Map].
In 1836 [his brother-in-law] James Graham 4th Duke Montrose (age 36) and Caroline Agnes Horsley Beresford "Mr Manton" Duchess Montrose (age 18) were married. He the son of [his father-in-law] James Graham 3rd Duke Montrose (age 80) and [his mother-in-law] Caroline Maria Montagu Duchess Montrose.
On 30 Dec 1836 [his father-in-law] James Graham 3rd Duke Montrose (age 81) died. His son [his brother-in-law] James Graham 4th Duke Montrose (age 37) succeeded 4th Duke Montrose. Caroline Agnes Horsley Beresford "Mr Manton" Duchess Montrose (age 18) by marriage Duchess Montrose.

On 16 May 1839 [his father] Edward Clive 1st Earl Powis (age 85) died at 45 Berkeley Square, Mayfair. He was buried at St Mary the Virgin Church, Bromfield. His son Edward Herbert 2nd Earl Powis (age 54) succeeded 2nd Earl Powis. [his wife] Lucy Graham Countess Powis (age 45) by marriage Countess Powis.

On 17 Jan 1848 Edward Herbert 2nd Earl Powis (age 62) died. he had been shot accidentally in the thigh ten days before by his son [his son] George Herbert (age 22) during a pheasant shoot at Powis Castle. He died His son [his son] Edward Herbert 3rd Earl Powis (age 29) succeeded 3rd Earl Powis.
Queen Victoria's Journal 1848. 18 Jan 1848. Windsor Castle [Map]. A fine, frosty morning. — We took a walk after breakfast. — Poor Ld Powis (deceased) has died in a most melancholy way. The whole party were out shooting & his [his son] 3rd son (age 22) accidentally shot his father in the thigh. At 1st he went on well, but unfortunately mortification set in, & he died. It is too dreadful for the unfortunate son. — Vicky (age 7) sat to Dyce (age 41) [See image], who began a new drawing. — Mama (age 61) came to luncheon, & we walked out again afterwards. — Mama, &c — & Ld Liverpool (age 63) (staying till the end of the week) dined. —
On 16 Sep 1875 [his former wife] Lucy Graham Countess Powis (age 81) died.
[his son] Major-General William Henry Herbert was born to Edward Herbert 2nd Earl Powis and Lucy Graham Countess Powis.
