Biography of Henrietta Stanley Countess Anglesey 1687-1718

She the daughter of [her grandfather] Thomas Butler 6th Earl Ossory (age 38) and [her grandmother] Emilia Nassau Beverweert Countess Ossory (age 37). He the son of [her grandfather] Charles Stanley 8th Earl of Derby and [her grandmother] Dorothea Helena Kirkoven Countess Derby (age 43). They were half third cousins. He a great x 5 grandson of King Henry VII of England and Ireland.

In 1687 Henrietta Stanley Countess Anglesey was born to William Stanley 9th Earl of Derby (age 32) and Elizabeth Butler Countess Derby (age 27).

On 21 Jan 1702 James Annesley 3rd Earl Anglesey (age 27) died. His brother [her future husband] John Annesley 4th Earl Anglesey (age 26) succeeded 4th Earl Anglesey, 5th Viscount Valentia, 4th Baron Annesley Newport Pagnell Buckinghamshire.

On 05 Nov 1702 [her father] William Stanley 9th Earl of Derby (age 47) died. On His brother [her uncle] James Stanley 10th Earl of Derby (age 38) succeeded 10th Earl Derby. Baron Strange Knockin abeyant between his two daughters Henrietta Stanley Countess Anglesey (age 15) and [her sister] Elizabeth Stanley. On the death of Elizabeth Stanley in 1714 the abeyance was terminated in favour of Henrietta Stanley Countess Anglesey.

On 21 May 1706 John Annesley 4th Earl Anglesey (age 30) and Henrietta Stanley Countess Anglesey (age 19) were married. She by marriage Countess Anglesey. She the daughter of William Stanley 9th Earl of Derby and Elizabeth Butler Countess Derby (age 46). He the son of James Annesley 2nd Earl Anglesey and Elizabeth Manners Countess Anglesey.

On 16 Jun 1710 William Ashburnham 2nd Baron Ashburnham (age 31) died of smallpox at Ashburnham. His brother [her future husband] John Ashburnham 1st Earl Ashburnham (age 23) succeeded 3rd Baron Ashburnham of Ashburnham in Sussex.

On 19 Sep 1710 [her husband] John Annesley 4th Earl Anglesey (age 34) died. His brother [her brother-in-law] Arthur Annesley 5th Earl Anglesey (age 30) succeeded 5th Earl Anglesey, 6th Viscount Valentia, 5th Baron Annesley Newport Pagnell Buckinghamshire. On 21 Oct 1710 [her future husband] John Ashburnham 1st Earl Ashburnham (age 23) and Mary Butler Baroness Ashburnham were married. She by marriage Baroness Ashburnham of Ashburnham in Sussex. She the daughter of [her uncle] James Butler 2nd Duke Ormonde (age 45) and Mary Somerset Duchess Ormonde (age 46).

In 1714 [her sister] Elizabeth Stanley died. In 1714 Her sister Henrietta Stanley Countess Anglesey (age 27) abeyance terminated 4th Baroness Strange Knockin.

On 24 Jul 1714 John Ashburnham 1st Earl Ashburnham (age 27) and Henrietta Stanley Countess Anglesey (age 27) were married. She by marriage Baroness Ashburnham of Ashburnham in Sussex. She the daughter of William Stanley 9th Earl of Derby and Elizabeth Butler Countess Derby (age 54).

Around 1716 [her daughter] Henrietta Ashburnham 5th Baroness Strange Knockin was born to [her husband] John Ashburnham 1st Earl Ashburnham (age 28) and Henrietta Stanley Countess Anglesey (age 29).

On 26 Jun 1718 Henrietta Stanley Countess Anglesey (age 31) died. Her daughter [her daughter] Henrietta Ashburnham 5th Baroness Strange Knockin (age 2) succeeded 5th Baroness Strange Knockin.

Before 30 Oct 1724 [her former husband] John Ashburnham 1st Earl Ashburnham (age 37) and Jemima Grey Countess Ashburham (age 25) were married. She by marriage Baroness Ashburnham of Ashburnham in Sussex. She the daughter of Henry Grey 1st Duke Kent (age 53) and Jemima Crew Marchioness Kent (age 49).
