Biography of John Wrottesley 1st Baron Wrottesley 1771-1841

On 29 Jun 1769 [his grandfather] Richard Wrottesley 7th Baronet (age 48) died. His son [his father] John Wrottesley 8th Baronet (age 24) succeeded 8th Baronet Wrottesley of Wrottesley in Staffordshire.
In 1770 [his father] John Wrottesley 8th Baronet (age 25) and [his mother] Frances Courtenay Lady Wrottesley were married. She by marriage Lady Wrottesley of Wrottesley in Staffordshire. She the daughter of [his grandfather] William Courtenay 7th Earl Devon and [his grandmother] Frances Finch Countess Devon.
On 04 Oct 1771 John Wrottesley 1st Baron Wrottesley was born to John Wrottesley 8th Baronet (age 26) and Frances Courtenay Lady Wrottesley.
On 23 Apr 1787 [his father] John Wrottesley 8th Baronet (age 42) died. His son John Wrottesley 1st Baron Wrottesley (age 15) succeeded 9th Baronet Wrottesley of Wrottesley in Staffordshire.
In 1795 John Wrottesley 1st Baron Wrottesley (age 23) and Caroline Bennett Lady Wrottesley (age 22) were married. She by marriage Lady Wrottesley of Wrottesley in Staffordshire. She the daughter of Charles Bennet 4th Earl Tankerville (age 51) and Emma Colebrooke Countess Tankerville (age 43).
On 05 Aug 1798 [his son] John Wrottesley 2nd Baron Wrottesley was born to John Wrottesley 1st Baron Wrottesley (age 26) and [his wife] Caroline Bennett Lady Wrottesley (age 25).
In 1799 John Wrottesley 1st Baron Wrottesley (age 27) was elected MP Lichfield which seat he held until 1806.
On 28 Jul 1806 [his brother-in-law] Charles Augustus Bennet 5th Earl Tankerville (age 30) and Corisande Armandine Sophie Léonie Hélène Gramont Countess Tankerville (age 23) were married at Devonshire House. She the daughter of Antoine 8th Duke Gramont (age 50) and Aglae de Polignac "Guichette" Duchess Gramont. He the son of [his father-in-law] Charles Bennet 4th Earl Tankerville (age 62) and [his mother-in-law] Emma Colebrooke Countess Tankerville (age 54).
On 07 Mar 1818 [his wife] Caroline Bennett Lady Wrottesley (age 45) died.
On 10 Dec 1822 [his former father-in-law] Charles Bennet 4th Earl Tankerville (age 79) died. His son [his former brother-in-law] Charles Augustus Bennet 5th Earl Tankerville (age 46) succeeded 5th Earl Tankerville, 6th Baron Ossulston of Ossulston in Middlesex. Corisande Armandine Sophie Léonie Hélène Gramont Countess Tankerville (age 40) by marriage Countess Tankerville.
In 1823 John Wrottesley 1st Baron Wrottesley (age 51) was elected MP Staffordshire which seat he held until 1832.
In 1828 [his mother] Frances Courtenay Lady Wrottesley died.
In 1832 John Wrottesley 1st Baron Wrottesley (age 60) was elected MP Staffordshire South which seat he held until 1837
