In 1449 [his father] Roger Fiennes (age 64) died. He was buried at All Saints Church Herstmonceux.
In 1449 [his mother] Elizabeth Holland (age 60) died.
Around 1455 [his daughter] Elizabeth Fiennes Baroness Clinton was born to Richard Fiennes 7th Baron Dacre Gilsland (age 40) and [his wife] Joan Dacre 7th Baroness Dacre of Gilsland (age 22). She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
On 05 Jan 1458 Thomas Dacre 6th Baron Dacre Gilsland (age 70) died. On 05 Jan 1458 His granddaughter [his wife] Joan Dacre 7th Baroness Dacre of Gilsland (age 25) succeeded 7th Baroness Dacre Gilsland.
Around 1463 [his son-in-law] John Clinton 6th Baron Clinton (age 34) and [his daughter] Elizabeth Fiennes Baroness Clinton (age 8) were married at Herstmonceux. The difference in their ages was 26 years. They were fourth cousins. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
On 10 Apr 1483, in the morning, the coffin of King Edward IV of England (deceased) was moved to St Stephen's Chapel, Westminster Palace [Map]. Bishop Edward Story sang the masses. Richard Fiennes 7th Baron Dacre Gilsland (age 68), Chamberlain to Elizabeth Woodville Queen Consort England (age 46), offered on the Queen's behalf.
On 17 Apr 1483 the coffin of Edward IV (deceased) was carried to Westminster Abbey [Map] by Edward Stanley 1st Baron Monteagle (age 21), John Savage (age 39), Thomas Wortley (age 50), Thomas Molyneux (age 38), probably John Welles 1st Viscount Welles (age 33) who had married Edward's daughter Cecily), John Cheney 1st Baron Cheyne (age 41), Walter Hungerford (age 19), Guy Wolston (age 50), John Sapcote (age 35), Thomas Tyrrell (age 30), John Risley, Thomas Dacre 2nd Baron Dacre Gilsland (age 15), John Norreys, Louis de Bretelles and John Comyn 4th Lord Baddenoch.

Henry Machyn's Diary. 08 Sep 1559. The viij day of September at after-none [was] the obseque of Henry the Frenche kyng, the herse garnyshed with grett skochyons of armes bosted [Note. Possibly embossed] with grett crownes, and all under ther fett [feet] with blake, and a grett palle of cloth of gold, and ys helmett and mantyll of cloth of gold and cott armur, targett and sworde, and crest, and angyd [hanged] all the quer [choir] with blake and armes, and my lord tresorer (age 76) the cheyff [mourner], and next my lord chamburlen, my lord of Burgany, my lord of Hunsdon (age 33), and my lord Cobam (age 31), my lord Dacurs of the Sowth, and my lord Pallett, ser Recherd Sakefeld (age 52), and ser Edward Warner (age 48), and mony mo morners all in blake; and contenent songe durge, and a xiiij [14] haroldes of armes in ther cott armur afor the lordes, and after to the bysshope('s) palles to drynke.
