In 1326 John Harrington 1st Baron Harington (age 45) was created 1st Baron Harington by writ of summons to Parliament. Margaret aka Joan Dacre Baroness Harington (age 43) by marriage Baroness Harington.
On 02 Jun 1347 John Harrington 1st Baron Harington (age 66) died at Aldingham Furness, Lancashire. His grandson John Harrington 2nd Baron Harington (age 19) succeeded 2nd Baron Harington.
He was buried at Cartmel Priory, Lancashire [Map]. His wife Margaret aka Joan Dacre Baroness Harington (age 64) was buried with him.
John Harrington 2nd Baron Harington: In 1328 he was born to Robert Harrington and Elizabeth Multon. In 1350 John Harrington 2nd Baron Harington and Joan Bermingham were married. The marriage somewhat speculative? On 28 May 1363 John Harrington 2nd Baron Harington died at Gleaston Castle. His son Robert Harrington 3rd Baron Harington succeeded 3rd Baron Harington. Given his young age Robert Harrington 3rd Baron Harington became a ward of King Edward III of England who granted his wardship to his daughter Isabella Countess Bedford and Soissons and her husband Enguerrand de Coucy 1st Earl Bedford 1st Count Soissons.
Margaret aka Joan Dacre Baroness Harington: John Harrington 1st Baron Harington and she were married. Around 1283 she was born to William Dacre and Joan Gernet at Aldingham Furness, Lancashire. In 1326 John Harrington 1st Baron Harington was created 1st Baron Harington by writ of summons to Parliament. She by marriage Baroness Harington. Around 1383 Robert Harrington 3rd Baron Harington (age 27) and Isabel Loring Baroness Harington were married. She by marriage Baroness Harington.
On 21 May 1406 Robert Harrington 3rd Baron Harington (age 50) died at Aldingham Furness, Lancashire. His son John Harrington 4th Baron Harington (age 22) succeeded 4th Baron Harington.
On 11 Apr 1418 John Harrington 4th Baron Harington (age 34) died. He was buried in the Lady Chapel of St Dubricius Church, Porlock [Map]. His brother William Harrington 5th Baron Harington (age 28) succeeded 5th Baron Harington.
On 03 Mar 1457 William Harrington 5th Baron Harington (age 67) died at Gleaston Castle [Map]. His grandson William Bonville 6th Baron Harington (age 15) succeeded 6th Baron Harington.
On 30 Dec 1460 the Lancastrian army took their revenge for the defeats of the First Battle of St Albans and the Battle of Northampton during the Battle of Wakefield at Sandal Castle [Map]. The Lancastrian army was commanded by Henry Holland 3rd Duke Exeter (age 30), Henry Beaufort 2nd or 3rd Duke of Somerset (age 24) and Henry Percy 3rd Earl of Northumberland (age 39), and included John Courtenay 15th Earl Devon (age 25) and William Gascoigne XIII (age 30), both knighted, and James Butler 1st Earl Wiltshire 5th Earl Ormonde (age 40), John "Butcher" Clifford 9th Baron Clifford (age 25), John Neville 1st Baron Neville of Raby (age 50), Thomas Ros 9th Baron Ros Helmsley (age 33), Henry Roos and Thomas St Leger (age 20).
The Yorkist army was heavily defeated.
Richard Plantagenet 3rd Duke of York (age 49) was killed. His son King Edward IV of England (age 18) succeeded 4th Duke York, 7th Richard Plantagenet 3rd Duke of York, 9th Earl Ulster, 3rd Earl Cambridge, 9th Baron Mortimer of Wigmore.
Thomas Neville (age 30), and Edward Bourchier were killed.
Father and son Thomas Harrington (age 60) and John Harrington (age 36) were killed, the former dying of his wounds the day after.
William Bonville 6th Baron Harington (age 18) was killed. His daughter Cecily Bonville Marchioness Dorset succeeded 7th Baroness Harington.
Thomas Parr (age 53) fought in the Yorkist army.
Following the battle Richard Neville Earl Salisbury (age 60) was beheaded by Thomas "Bastard of Exeter" Holland. William Bonville (age 40) was executed.
Edmund York 1st Earl of Rutland (age 17) was killed on Wakefield Bridge [Map] by John "Butcher" Clifford by which he gained his sobriquet "Butcher". Earl of Rutland extinct.
After 17 Feb 1461 John Harrington 4th Baron Harington and Elizabeth Courtenay Baroness Bonville and Harington were married. She by marriage Baroness Harington. She the daughter of Edward "Blind Earl" Courtenay 11th Earl Devon and Maud Camoys Countess Devon. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Edward I of England.
On 12 May 1529 Cecily Bonville Marchioness Dorset (age 68) died. She was buried at Church St Mary the Virgin, Astley.

On 10 Oct 1530 Thomas Grey 2nd Marquess Dorset (age 53) died. His son Henry Grey 1st Duke of Suffolk (age 13) succeeded 3rd Marquess Dorset, 3rd Earl Huntingdon, 9th Baron Ferrers of Groby, 9th Baron Harington, 4th Baron Bonville.
On 23 Feb 1554 Henry Grey 1st Duke of Suffolk (age 37) was beheaded at Tower Hill [Map]. Duke Suffolk, Marquess Dorset, Earl Huntingdon, Baron Ferrers of Groby, Baron Harington, Baron Bonville forfeit.
