Biography of John Carew 3rd Baronet 1635-1692

In Dec 1631 [his father] Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet (age 23) and [his mother] Jane Rolle Lady Carew were married at St Petroc's Church, Petrockstowe [Map]. She being his step-aunt, sister of his step-mother [his aunt] Grace Rolle (age 38).
On 06 Nov 1635 John Carew 3rd Baronet was born to Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet (age 27) and Jane Rolle Lady Carew.
On 19 Nov 1644 [his father] Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet (age 36) was tried for treason, for attempting to betray the Parliamentary cause, by court-martial and convicted at Guildhall [Map].
On 23 Dec 1644 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet was beheaded at Tower Hill [Map]. He was buried at St Augustine's Church, Hackney. His son John Carew 3rd Baronet (age 9) succeeded 3rd Baronet Carew of Antony in Cornwall.
