On 22nd January 1874 [his daughter] Hilda Brunner Viscountess Dillon was born to John Brunner 1st Baronet [aged 31] and [his wife] Salome Davies. She married 5th January 1907 Arthur Henry Dillon 18th Viscount Dillon.

On 29th January 1874 [his wife] Salome Davies died.

In 1885 John Brunner 1st Baronet [aged 42] was elected MP Northwich which seat he held until 1886.

In 1887 John Brunner 1st Baronet [aged 44] was elected MP Northwich which seat he held until 1910.

Before 6th February 1895 [his son] John Brunner 2nd Baronet [aged 29] and [his daughter-in-law] Lucy Marianne Morgan Lady Brunner were married.

On 27th July 1895 John Brunner 1st Baronet [aged 53] was created 1st Baronet Brunner of Druids Cross in Lancashire.

On 5th January 1907 [his son-in-law] Arthur Henry Dillon 18th Viscount Dillon [aged 32] and [his daughter] Hilda Brunner Viscountess Dillon [aged 32] were married.
