In May 1580 [his father] George Carew 1st Earl Totnes (age 24) and Joyce Clopton Countess Totnes were married.
In 1593 Thomas Stafford (age 19) was elected MP Weymouth and Melcombe Regis.
In 1611 Thomas Stafford (age 37) was knighted.
Before 1619 Thomas Stafford (age 45) was appointed Gentleman Usher of the Privy Chamber.
In 1621 Thomas Stafford (age 47) was elected MP Helston.
In 1624 Thomas Stafford (age 50) was elected MP Bodmin.
In 1625 Thomas Stafford (age 51) was elected MP Bodmin.
On 05 Feb 1626 [his father] George Carew 1st Earl Totnes (age 70) was created 1st Earl Totnes. Joyce Clopton Countess Totnes by marriage Countess Totnes.
On 27 Mar 1629 [his father] George Carew 1st Earl Totnes (age 73) died at Savoy Palace [Map]. He was buried at Clopton Chantry Chapel Church of the Holy Trinity Stratford upon Avon [Map]. Earl Totnes extinct.
After 1633 Thomas Stafford (age 59) and Mary Woodhouse were married. He the illegitmate son of George Carew 1st Earl Totnes.
Before 20 Feb 1655 Thomas Stafford (age 81) died. He was buried at Clopton Chantry Chapel Church of the Holy Trinity Stratford upon Avon [Map]. His will was proved 20 Feb 1655.
