On 02 Jun 1420 Henry V (age 33) and [his mother] Catherine of Valois (age 18) were married at Troyes Cathedral [Map]. She the daughter of Charles "Beloved Mad" VI King France (age 51) and Isabeau Wittelsbach Queen Consort France (age 50). He the son of King Henry IV of England and Mary Bohun. On 11 Jun 1430 Edmund Tudor 1st Earl Richmond was born to Owen Tudor (age 30) and Catherine of Valois Queen Consort England (age 28) at Much Hadham Palace, Hertfordshire (which belonged to the Bishops of London). There is speculation that the biological father was Edmund Beaufort 1st or 2nd Duke Somerset (age 24) with whom Catherine of Valois Queen Consort England (age 28) was rumoured to have had an affair. Interesting, perhaps, that he was named Edmund rather than Owen. Interesting that he took the Royal Arms of England differenced. Also interesting that his younger brother was named Jasper; a Persian name meaning 'Keeper of the Treasure'.
On 03 Jan 1437 [his mother] Catherine of Valois Queen Consort England (age 35) died at Bermondsey Abbey [Map]. She had been married aged eighteen to King Henry V of England for two years three months. Their son was [his half-brother] King Henry VI of England and II of France (age 15).
After Henry V died she disappears somewhat from the records other than for Parliament to legislate against her marrying without permission, which she then duly did, to [his father] Owen Tudor (age 37), and had two sons, the elder of which was father to [his son] King Henry VII of England and Ireland.
On 15 Dec 1449 Edmund Tudor 1st Earl Richmond (age 19) was created 1st Earl Richmond by [his half-brother] King Henry VI of England and II of France (age 28).
Around Jan 1450 John de la Pole 2nd Duke of Suffolk (age 7) and [his future wife] Margaret Beaufort Countess Richmond (age 6) were married. The date subject to debate. Papal dispensation was granted on 18 August 1450. Margaret never recognised this marriage, and considered her next husband her first; as confirmed by her 1472 will. She the daughter of John Beaufort 1st Duke Somerset and Margaret Beauchamp Duchess Somerset (age 40). He the son of William "Jackanapes" de la Pole 1st Duke of Suffolk (age 53) and Alice Chaucer Duchess Suffolk (age 46). They were half third cousins. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward "Longshanks" I of England. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
Before 02 Apr 1450 William Zouche 5th Baron Zouche Harringworth (age 48) and [his future sister-in-law] Elizabeth St John Baroness Scrope Bolton Baroness Zouche Harringworth were married. She by marriage Baroness Zouche Harringworth. She the daughter of Oliver St John and Margaret Beauchamp Duchess Somerset (age 40).
On 05 Jan 1453 brothers John Neville 1st Marquess Montagu (age 22) and Thomas Neville (age 23), William "Black William" Herbert 1st Earl Pembroke (age 30), brothers Edmund Tudor 1st Earl Richmond (age 22) and [his brother] Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford (age 21) and Roger Lewknor were knighted by [his half-brother] King Henry VI (age 31) at Greenwich, Kent [Map]
In Feb 1453 John de la Pole 2nd Duke of Suffolk (age 10) and [his future wife] Margaret Beaufort Countess Richmond (age 9) marriage annulled.
On 01 Nov 1455 Edmund Tudor 1st Earl Richmond (age 25) and Margaret Beaufort Countess Richmond (age 12) were married at Bletsoe Castle [Map]. She by marriage Countess Richmond. She the daughter of John Beaufort 1st Duke Somerset and Margaret Beauchamp Duchess Somerset (age 45). He the son of Owen Tudor (age 55) and Catherine of Valois Queen Consort England. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward "Longshanks" I of England. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
On 03 Nov 1456 Edmund Tudor 1st Earl Richmond (age 26) died of plague at Carmarthen Castle [Map] leaving his twelve year old wife [his wife] Margaret Beaufort Countess Richmond (age 13) pregnant with their child [his son] Henry Tudor, the future King Henry VII. His son Henry Tudor succeeded 2nd Earl Richmond.
On 28 Jan 1457 [his son] King Henry VII of England and Ireland was born to the late Edmund Tudor 1st Earl Richmond and [his former wife] Margaret Beaufort Countess Richmond (age 13) at Pembroke Castle [Map]. He a great x 3 grandson of King Edward III of England.
On 03 Jan 1458 Henry Stafford (age 33) and [his former wife] Margaret Beaufort Countess Richmond (age 14) were married probably at Maxstoke Castle [Map]. Her third marriage (second if you don't include the one annulled) aged fourteen and already the mother of the future [his son] King Henry VII. She had no further issue. She the daughter of John Beaufort 1st Duke Somerset and Margaret Beauchamp Duchess Somerset (age 48). He the son of Humphrey Stafford 1st Duke of Buckingham (age 55) and Anne Neville Duchess Buckingham (age 50). They were second cousins. He a great x 2 grandson of King Edward III of England. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
Around 12 Jun 1472 Thomas Stanley 1st Earl of Derby (age 37) and [his former wife] Margaret Beaufort Countess Richmond (age 29) were married. She by marriage Queen Mann, Baroness Stanley. She the daughter of John Beaufort 1st Duke Somerset and Margaret Beauchamp Duchess Somerset (age 62). They were third cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward "Longshanks" I of England. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
On 29 Jun 1509 [his former wife] Margaret Beaufort Countess Richmond (age 66) died in the Deanery, Westminster Abbey [Map]. She had lived to see the Coronation of her son King Henry VII of England and Ireland and her grandson King Henry VIII of England and Ireland (age 18).
She was buried at the King Henry VII Chapel, Westminster Abbey [Map]. Her tomb was created by Pietro Torrigiano (age 36). The gilded bronze sculpture on the tomb depicts Margaret with her head resting on pillows and her hands raised in prayer, wearing garments characteristic of widowhood; the face was probably sculpted from a death mask. The black marble tomb is embellished with heraldic bronze insignia, including a Yale, her heraldic badge, at her feet.
