In 1698 Thomas Coke (age 23) was elected MP Derby at the 1698 General Election which seat he held until Dec 1701.
In Jun 1698 Thomas Coke (age 24) and Mary Stanhope (age 24) were married. She the daughter of Philip Stanhope 2nd Earl Chesterfield (age 64) and Elizabeth Dormer Countess Chesterfield.
In 1702 Thomas Coke (age 27) was elected MP Derbyshire at the 1702 General Election.
In 1704 [his wife] Mary Stanhope (age 30) died.
On or before 06 Feb 1704 [his former brother-in-law] Charles Stanhope aka Wooton (age 28) died. Boughton aka Bocton Place, Kent [Map] was inherited by his elder brother [his former brother-in-law] Philip Stanhope 3rd Earl Chesterfield (age 31).
