On 15 Oct 1857 Wilbraham Egerton 1st Earl Egerton (age 25) and [his future sister-in-law] Mary Amherst were married. She the daughter of William Amherst 2nd Earl Amherst (age 52) and Gertrude Percy Countess Amherst (age 43).
