On 15 Sep 1683 Charles Eversfield was born to Nicholas Eversfield of Charlton Court, Sussex (age 37) and Elizabeth Gildridge.
In 1684 [his father] Nicholas Eversfield of Charlton Court, Sussex (age 38) died.

On 03 Jul 1734 Henry Fermor 1st Baronet died. [his son] Charles Eversfield 2nd Baronet (age 26) succeeded 2nd Baronet Eversfield of Welches in Suffolk and Sevenoak in Kent. He was a first cousin twice removed of his wife's first husband John Eversfield of Horsham, Sussex.

In 1741 Charles Eversfield (age 57) was elected MP Steyning which seat he held until 1747 when he chose not to stand.
