Before 16 Apr 1565 [her father] Nicholas Throckmorton (age 50) and [her mother] Anne Carew (age 45) were married. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward III of England. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

On 16 Apr 1565 Elizabeth Throckmorton was born to Nicholas Throckmorton (age 50) and Anne Carew (age 45).

On 12 Feb 1571 [her father] Nicholas Throckmorton (age 56) died.

In 1572 [her step-father] Adrian Stokes (age 52) and [her mother] Anne Carew (age 52) were married. Her second marriage having previously been married to [her father] Nicholas Throckmorton. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

On 24 Nov 1587 [her mother] Anne Carew (age 67) died.

In 1591 Walter Raleigh (age 37) and Elizabeth Throckmorton (age 25) were married in secret she probably being pregnant with their first child. When Queen Eizabeth (age 57) found out they had married without permission she placed them underhouse arrest then sent them to Tower of London [Map].

In 1605 [her son] Carew Raleigh was born to [her husband] Walter Raleigh (age 51) and Elizabeth Throckmorton (age 39) in the Tower of London [Map].

Diary of Anne Clifford 1616. 08 Jan 1616. Upon the 8th went to see Lady Raleigh (age 50) at the Tower [Map].

On 29 Oct 1618 [her husband] Walter Raleigh (age 64) was beheaded at Old Palace Yard. He was buried in St Margaret's Church, Westminster [Map].

Diary of Anne Clifford 1619. 26 Apr 1619. Monday the 26th my Lord's (age 30) cocks fought at Whitehall when my Lord (age 30) won five or six battles. I went in the afternoon to see my Lady Windsor (age 44)¹, my Lady Rawleigh (age 54) in her house which is hard by Austin Friars. Then went to Clerkenwell to the house that Sir Thomas Challum built.

After Jan 1628 [her son] Carew Raleigh (age 23) and [her daughter-in-law] Lady Philippa Sheldon (age 25) were married.

Around 1647 Elizabeth Throckmorton (age 81) died.
