Biography of John Osborn 5th Baronet 1772-1848

On 12 Oct 1753 [his grandfather] Danvers Osborn 3rd Baronet (age 37) committed suicide at New York. His body was found in the garden of the house in which he was lodged, which belonged to a local councilman. The body presented evidence of strangulation. His son [his father] George Osborn 4th Baronet (age 11) succeeded 4th Baronet Osborn of Chicksands in Bedfordshire.
Before 03 Dec 1772 [his father] George Osborn 4th Baronet (age 30) and [his mother] Elizabeth Bannister (age 26) were married.
On 03 Dec 1772 John Osborn 5th Baronet was born to George Osborn 4th Baronet (age 30) and Elizabeth Bannister (age 26).
On 16 Mar 1773 [his mother] Elizabeth Bannister (age 27) died.
In 1794 John Osborn 5th Baronet (age 21) was elected MP Bedfordshire which seat he held until 1807.
In 1807 John Osborn 5th Baronet (age 34) was elected MP Queenborough which seat he held until 1818.
In or before 1813 John Osborn 5th Baronet (age 40) and Frederica Louisa Davers were married. They had five sons and three daughters.
On 29 Oct 1813 [his son] George Robert Osborn 6th Baronet was born to John Osborn 5th Baronet (age 40) and [his wife] Frederica Louisa Davers.
In 1818 John Osborn 5th Baronet (age 45) was elected MP Bedfordshire which seat he held until 1820.
Before 29 Jun 1818 [his father] George Osborn 4th Baronet (age 76) and [his step-mother] Heneage Finch Lady Osborn (age 76) were married. She by marriage Lady Osborn of Chicksands in Bedfordshire. She the daughter of Daniel Finch 8th Earl Winchilsea 3rd Earl Nottingham and Mary Palmer Countess Winchelsea and Nottingham.
On 29 Jun 1818 [his father] George Osborn 4th Baronet (age 76) died. His son John Osborn 5th Baronet (age 45) succeeded 5th Baronet Osborn of Chicksands in Bedfordshire.
In 1821 John Osborn 5th Baronet (age 48) was elected MP Wigtown Boroughs which seat he held until 1824.
On 20 May 1824 [his son] Montagu Francis Finch Osborn was born to John Osborn 5th Baronet (age 51) and [his wife] Frederica Louisa Davers.
On or before 12 Sep 1839 [his son] George Robert Osborn 6th Baronet (age 25) and [his daughter-in-law] Charlotte Elizabeth Kerr (age 28) were married.
On 28 Aug 1848 John Osborn 5th Baronet (age 75) died. His son [his son] George Robert Osborn 6th Baronet (age 34) succeeded 6th Baronet Osborn of Chicksands in Bedfordshire.
