In 1597 Thomas Freke (age 33) was appointed High Sheriff of Dorset.
In 1604 Thomas Freke (age 40) was elected MP Dorset. He was elected again in 1626.

In 1611 Thomas Freke (age 47) was appointed High Sheriff of Dorset.
