On 10 Dec 1832 [his grandfather] Thomas Lister 2nd Baron Ribblesdale (age 42) died. His son [his father] Thomas Lister 3rd Baron Ribblesdale (age 4) succeeded 3rd Baron Ribblesdale of Gisburne Park in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

On 29 Oct 1854 Thomas Lister 4th Baron Ribblesdale was born to Thomas Lister 3rd Baron Ribblesdale (age 26) at Fontainebleau.

On 25 Aug 1876 [his father] Thomas Lister 3rd Baron Ribblesdale (age 48) committed suicide. His son Thomas Lister 4th Baron Ribblesdale (age 21) succeeded 4th Baron Ribblesdale of Gisburne Park in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

On 07 Apr 1877 Thomas Lister 4th Baron Ribblesdale (age 22) and Charlotte Monckton "Charty" Tennant (age 19) were married at Savoy Chapel Royal [Map].

In 1886 [his sister-in-law] Octavia Laura Mary Tennant (age 24) died from childbirth.

On 03 Jun 1886 [his brother-in-law] Francis John "Frank" Tennant (age 24) and Annie Geraldine Redmayne (age 22) were married.

In 1887 [his son] Charles Alfred Lister was born to Thomas Lister 4th Baron Ribblesdale (age 32) and [his wife] Charlotte Monckton "Charty" Tennant (age 29).

In 1888 [his sister-in-law] Pauline Emma "Posie" Tennant (age 33) died.

In 1892 [his daughter] Laura Lister was born to Thomas Lister 4th Baron Ribblesdale (age 37) and [his wife] Charlotte Monckton "Charty" Tennant (age 34).

On 04 Jun 1906 [his father-in-law] Charles Tennant 1st Baronet (age 82) died. His son [his brother-in-law] Edward Tennant 1st Baron Glenconner (age 47) succeeded 2nd Baronet Tennant of The Glen and St Rollox.

In 1910 [his sister-in-law] Jean Tennant (age 10) died.

On 15 Oct 1910 [his son-in-law] Simon Fraser 14th Lord Lovat (age 38) and [his daughter] Laura Lister (age 18) were married. The difference in their ages was 20 years.

In 1911 [his wife] Charlotte Monckton "Charty" Tennant (age 53) died.

On 17 Apr 1913 [his son-in-law] Captain Percy Lyulph Wyndham (age 25) and [his daughter] Diana Lister Countess of Westmoreland (age 20) were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square.

In 1915 [his son] Charles Alfred Lister (age 28) died from wounds received during the Gallipoli Campaign.

In 1918 [his son-in-law] Captain Arthur Edward "Boy" Capel (age 36) and [his daughter] Diana Lister Countess of Westmoreland (age 25) were married.

On 03 Jun 1920 John Loder 2nd Baron Wakehurst (age 25) and [his former sister-in-law] Margaret Tennant (age 21) were married.

On 21 Nov 1920 [his former brother-in-law] Edward Tennant 1st Baron Glenconner (age 61) died at 34 Queen Anne's Gate Marylebone following an operation ten days before. His son Christopher Tennant 2nd Baron Glenconner (age 21) succeeded 2nd Baron Glenconner of The Glen in Peebles, 3rd Baronet Tennant of The Glen and St Rollox.

On 21 Oct 1925 Thomas Lister 4th Baron Ribblesdale (age 70) died. Baron Ribblesdale of Gisburne Park in the West Riding of Yorkshire extinct.
