She the daughter of George Sholto Douglas 17th Earl Morton (age 48). He the son of Charles Wentworth-Fitzwilliam 5th and 3rd Earl Fitzwilliam (age 52) and Mary Dundas.
On 31 Mar 1848 William Charles Wentworth-Fitzwilliam was born to William Thomas Wentworth-Fitzwilliam 6th and 4th Earl Fitzwilliam (age 32) and Frances Harriet Douglas Countess Fitzwilliam.
On 04 Oct 1857 [his grandfather] Charles Wentworth-Fitzwilliam 5th and 3rd Earl Fitzwilliam (age 71) died. His son [his father] William Thomas Wentworth-Fitzwilliam 6th and 4th Earl Fitzwilliam (age 41) succeeded 6th Earl Fitzwilliam, 4th Earl Fitzwilliam, 8th Baron Fitzwilliam of Liffer in Donegal.
