Biography of Robert Myddelton 1563-1616

In 1541 [his father] Richard Myddelton (age 32) and [his mother] Jane Dryhurst (age 16) were married. They had nine sons and seven daughters.
Around 1563 Robert Myddelton was born to Richard Myddelton (age 54) and Jane Dryhurst (age 38) at Denbigh Castle where his father was governor. He was their seventh son.

Richard Myddelton: Before 1509 he was born to Fulke Myddelton of Llansannan. In 1541 Richard Myddelton and Jane Dryhurst were married. They had nine sons and seven daughters. In 1542 Richard Myddelton was elected MP Denbigh Boroughs. In 1563 Humphrey Llwyd aka Lluyd lived at Denbigh Castle by permission of Sir John Salusbury [Note. Some sources say Richard Myddelton] who was then the Lord of the Manor of Denbigh.
In 1582 Robert Myddelton (age 19) was apprenticed to Eramus Harby 2nd Baronet of the Worshipful Company of Skinners.
On 27 Jul 1591 Robert Myddelton (age 28) and Margaret Mounsell were married.
On 22 Sep 1594 Robert Bateman (age 33) and [his sister-in-law] Joan Mounsell were married.
Before 1601 Vincent Harvie and [his future wife] Eleanor Saltonstall (age 46) were married.
Around 1601 [his future wife] Eleanor Saltonstall (age 47) died.
In 1602 [his sister-in-law] Joan Mounsell died.
In 1604 Robert Myddelton (age 41) was elected MP Weymouth and Melcombe Regis.
In May 1604 Robert Myddelton (age 41) acquired the receivership of Crown lands in Dorset and Somerset from Alderman Thomas Smythe (age 46), but he quickly passed them onto Lionel Cranfield 1st Earl Middlesex (age 29).
In 1610 [his wife] Margaret Mounsell died.
On 24 Feb 1612 Robert Myddelton (age 49) and Eleanor Saltonstall were married.
In 1616 Robert Myddelton (age 53) died.
