On 22nd March 1648 Edward Hussey 1st Baronet [aged 62] died. His grandson Thomas [aged 9] succeeded 2nd Baronet Hussey of Honington in Lincolnshire.

Before 1672 Thomas Hussey 2nd Baronet [aged 32] and Sarah Langham Lady Hussey were married with whom he had six sons and four daughters although the sons would appear to have predeceased their father since he was succeeded by his cousin Edward Hussey 3rd Baronet [aged 9]. She by marriage Lady Hussey of Honington in Lincolnshire.

On 19th December 1706 Thomas Hussey 2nd Baronet [aged 67] died. His first cousin Edward [aged 44] succeeded 3rd Baronet Hussey of Honington in Lincolnshire. His daughter Sarah Hussey [aged 34] inherited Doddington Hall [Map].

On 19th February 1725 Edward Hussey 3rd Baronet [aged 63] died. His son Henry [aged 23] succeeded 4th Baronet Hussey of Honington in Lincolnshire, 4th Baronet Hussey of Caythorpe in Lincolnshire.

In 1730 Henry Hussey 4th Baronet [aged 28] died. His brother Edward [aged 23] succeeded 5th Baronet Hussey of Honington in Lincolnshire, 5th Baronet Hussey of Caythorpe in Lincolnshire.

On 1st April 1734 Edward Hussey 5th Baronet [aged 27] died. Baronet Hussey of Honington in Lincolnshire and Baronet Hussey of Caythorpe in Lincolnshire extinct.

21st July 1661 Charles Hussey 1st Baronet [aged 35] was created 1st Baronet Hussey of Caythorpe in Lincolnshire.

21st July 1661 Edward Barkham 1st Baronet [aged 31] was created 1st Baronet Barkham Waynflete.

25th July 1661 John Banks 1st Baronet [aged 34] was created 1st Baronet Banks of London by King Charles I of England, Scotland and Ireland.

On 2nd December 1664 Charles Hussey 1st Baronet [aged 38] died. He was buried at St Vincent's Church, Caythorpe [Map]. His son Charles succeeded 2nd Baronet Hussey of Caythorpe in Lincolnshire.

Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke

Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson.

On 19th February 1725 Edward Hussey 3rd Baronet [aged 63] died. His son Henry [aged 23] succeeded 4th Baronet Hussey of Honington in Lincolnshire, 4th Baronet Hussey of Caythorpe in Lincolnshire.

In 1730 Henry Hussey 4th Baronet [aged 28] died. His brother Edward [aged 23] succeeded 5th Baronet Hussey of Honington in Lincolnshire, 5th Baronet Hussey of Caythorpe in Lincolnshire.
