On 1st May 1784 John Fletcher aka Boughey 2nd Baronet was born to Thomas Fletcher 1st Baronet [aged 37] and Anne Fenton.
On 16th May 1805 John Fletcher aka Boughey 2nd Baronet [aged 21] changed his surname from Fletcher to Boughey by Royal Licence on inheriting estates of cos. George Boughey (d.1788) of Audley.
On 9th February 1808 John Fletcher aka Boughey 2nd Baronet [aged 23] and Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode were married. They had eleven children.
On 22nd January 1809 [his son] Thomas Fletcher Fenton Boughey 3rd Baronet was born to John Fletcher aka Boughey 2nd Baronet [aged 24] and [his wife] Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode.
In 1812 John Fletcher aka Boughey 2nd Baronet [aged 27] was elected MP Newcastle under Lyme which seat he held until 1818.
In 1812 [his father] Thomas Fletcher 1st Baronet [aged 65] died. His son John [aged 27] succeeded 2nd Baronet Fletcher of Newcastle under Lyme in Staffordshire.
On 9th September 1813 [his son] George Fenton Fletcher Boughey was born to John Fletcher aka Boughey 2nd Baronet [aged 29] and [his wife] Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode.
In 1820 John Fletcher aka Boughey 2nd Baronet [aged 35] was elected MP Staffordshire which seat he held until his death in 1823.
