Around 1744 [his daughter] Mary Fane Lady Stapleton was born to Henry Fane [aged 40] and [his wife] Anne Wynne. She married 27th November 1765 her fourth cousin Thomas Stapleton 5th Baronet, son of William Stapleton 4th Baronet and Catherine Paul Lady Stapleton, and had issue.
In September 1748 Henry Fane [aged 44] and Charlotte Luther were married.
Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes

His second cousin once removed [his brother] Thomas [aged 61] succeeded 8th Earl of Westmoreland. [his sister-in-law] Elizabeth Swymmer Countess Westmoreland by marriage Countess of Westmoreland.
On 27th November 1765 [his son-in-law] Thomas Stapleton 5th Baronet [aged 38] and [his daughter] Mary Fane Lady Stapleton [aged 21] were married. She by marriage Lady Stapleton of Leeward Islands. They were fourth cousins.
In 1768 Henry Fane [aged 64] was elected MP Lyme Regis.
Abbot John Whethamstede’s Chronicle of the Abbey of St Albans
Abbot John Whethamstede's Register aka Chronicle of his second term at the Abbey of St Albans, 1451-1461, is a remarkable text that describes his first-hand experience of the beginning of the Wars of the Roses including the First and Second Battles of St Albans, 1455 and 1461, respectively, their cause, and their consequences, not least on the Abbey itself. His text also includes Loveday, Blore Heath, Northampton, the Act of Accord, Wakefield, and Towton, and ends with the Coronation of King Edward IV.
