Before 21st June 1691 [his father] Joseph Banks of Revesby Abbey, Lincolnshire [aged 25] and [his mother] Mary Hancock were married.
On 21st June 1691 Joseph Banks was born to Joseph Banks of Revesby Abbey, Lincolnshire [aged 25] and Mary Hancock.
On 11th April 1714 Joseph Banks [aged 22] and Anne Hodgkinson were married. The had three daughters and three sons.
On 19th April 1719 [his son] William Banks aka Hodgkinson was born to Joseph Banks [aged 27] and [his wife] Anne Hodgkinson.
In or before 1724 Newcomen Wallis [aged 27] and [his future wife] Catherine Collingwood [aged 21] were married.
On 27th September 1727 [his father] Joseph Banks of Revesby Abbey, Lincolnshire [aged 62] died.
On 22nd May 1728 Joseph Banks [aged 36] was elected MP Peterborough at a by-election.
In 1730 Joseph Banks [aged 38] was elected Fellow of the Royal Society.
On 9th September 1730 [his wife] Anne Hodgkinson died.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. [his daughter] Elizabeth Banks was born to Joseph Banks and Anne Hodgkinson. She married 8th November 1744 James Hawley and had issue.
