Bishop Brownlow North 1741-1820

In 1728 Francis North 1st Earl Guildford [aged 23] and Lucy Montagu Baroness Guildford were married. She the daughter of George Montagu 1st Earl Halifax [aged 44] and Ricarda Posthuma Saltonstale. They were fourth cousins.

Before 20th June 1731 George Legge [aged 27] and [his mother] Elizabeth Kaye Baroness North and Guildford [aged 24] were married. He the son of William Legge 1st Earl Dartmouth [aged 58] and Anne Finch Countess Dartmouth.

On 24th January 1736 Francis North 1st Earl Guildford [aged 31] and [his mother] Elizabeth Kaye Baroness North and Guildford [aged 29] were married. She by marriage Baroness North, Baroness Guildford.

On 17th July 1741 Bishop Brownlow North was born to Francis North 1st Earl Guildford [aged 37] and Elizabeth Kaye Baroness North and Guildford [aged 34].

In 1745 [his mother] Elizabeth Kaye Baroness North and Guildford [aged 38] died.

On 15th December 1750 William Legge 1st Earl Dartmouth [aged 78] died. His grandson William [aged 19] succeeded 2nd Earl Dartmouth, 3rd Baron Dartmouth.

On 13th June 1751 Francis North 1st Earl Guildford [aged 47] and Catherine Furnese Countess Guilford and Rockingham were married. She by marriage Baroness North, Baroness Guildford.

On 8th April 1752 Francis North 1st Earl Guildford [aged 47] was created 1st Earl Guildford. Catherine Furnese Countess Guilford and Rockingham by marriage Countess Guildford.

On 11th January 1755 William Legge 2nd Earl Dartmouth [aged 23] and [his sister-in-law] Frances Catherine Gounter Nicoll Countess Dartmouth [aged 22] were married. She by marriage Countess Dartmouth.

On 20th May 1756 Frederick North 2nd Earl Guildford [aged 24] and [his sister-in-law] Anne Speke Countess Guilford [aged 16] were married. He the son of [his father] Francis North 1st Earl Guildford [aged 52] and Lucy Montagu Baroness Guildford.

In 1760 James Brudenell 5th Earl Cardigan [aged 34] and [his half-sister] Anne Legge Baroness Brudenell Deene were married. He the son of George Brudenell 3rd Earl Cardigan and Elizabeth Bruce 3rd Countess Cardigan. They were half fourth cousin once removed.

On 8th October 1761 [his brother-in-law] John Peyto Verney 22nd Baron Latimer 14th Baron Willoughby [aged 23] and [his sister] Louisa North Baroness Latimer Baroness Willoughby of Broke [aged 24] were married. She by marriage Baroness Latimer of Corby, Baroness Willoughby Broke. She the daughter of [his father] Francis North 1st Earl Guildford [aged 57] and [his mother] Elizabeth Kaye Baroness North and Guildford.

In 1771 Bishop Brownlow North [aged 29] was appointed Bishop of Lichfield.

On 17th December 1772 [his son] Francis North 6th Earl Guildford was born to Bishop Brownlow North [aged 31] and [his wife] Henrietta Maria Bannister [aged 22].

In 1774 Bishop Brownlow North [aged 32] was appointed Bishop of Worcester.

On 26th October 1776 [his daughter] Elizabeth North Baroness Walsingham was born to Bishop Brownlow North [aged 35] and [his wife] Henrietta Maria Bannister [aged 26]. She married 12th August 1802 Thomas Grey 4th Baron Walsingham, son of Thomas Grey 2nd Baron Walsingham and Augusta Georgina Irby Baroness Walsingham, and had issue.

In 1778 [his son] Brownlow North was born to Bishop Brownlow North [aged 36] and [his wife] Henrietta Maria Bannister [aged 28].

In 1780 James Brudenell 5th Earl Cardigan [aged 54] was created 1st Baron Brudenell Deene in Northamptonshire. [his half-sister] Anne Legge Baroness Brudenell Deene by marriage Baroness Brudenell Deene in Northamptonshire.

On 23rd June 1785 [his son] Charles Augustus North was born to Bishop Brownlow North [aged 43] and [his wife] Henrietta Maria Bannister [aged 35].

On 12th November 1786 [his half-sister] Anne Legge Baroness Brudenell Deene died.

On 4th August 1790 Francis North 1st Earl Guildford [aged 86] died. His son Frederick [aged 58] succeeded 2nd Earl Guildford, 8th Baron North, 4th Baron Guildford. [his sister-in-law] Anne Speke Countess Guilford [aged 50] by marriage Countess Guildford.

On 5th August 1792 Frederick North 2nd Earl Guildford [aged 60] died. His son George [aged 34] succeeded 3rd Earl Guildford, 9th Baron North, 5th Baron Guildford. Maria Frances Hobart Countess Guilford [aged 30] by marriage Countess Guildford.

On 17th November 1796 [his wife] Henrietta Maria Bannister [aged 46] died.

On 2nd April 1798 [his sister] Louisa North Baroness Latimer Baroness Willoughby of Broke [aged 61] died.

On 15th July 1801 William Legge 2nd Earl Dartmouth [aged 70] died. His son George [aged 45] succeeded 3rd Earl Dartmouth. Frances Finch Countess Dartmouth [aged 40] by marriage Countess Dartmouth. He took his seat in the Lords on 29th October 1801.

On 12th August 1802 [his son-in-law] Thomas Grey 4th Baron Walsingham [aged 24] and Elizabeth North Baroness Walsingham [aged 25] were married. She the daughter of Bishop Brownlow North [aged 61] and Henrietta Maria Bannister.
