She the daughter of [his grandfather] John Valois 1st Duke Berry and [his grandmother] Joanne Armagnac Duchess Berry. He the son of Amadeus "Green Count" Savoy VI Count Savoy and Bonne Bourbon Countess Savoy. They were fourth cousin twice removed.
