Around 1752 Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet was born illegitimately to Robert Wilmot 1st Baronet [aged 44].

In 1758 Lieutenant-General John Cope [aged 69] wrote a new will in which he left his estate to Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet [aged 6] in the event his illegitimate children with Mrs Metcalf predecease him.

In October 1772 [his father] Robert Wilmot 1st Baronet [aged 64] was created 1st Baronet Wilmot of Osmaston in Derbyshire with a special remainder that allowed his illegitimate son Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet [aged 20] to inherit the title.

After October 1772 [his father] Robert Wilmot 1st Baronet [deceased] died. His son Robert [aged 20] succeeded 2nd Baronet Wilmot of Osmaston in Derbyshire.

On 17th September 1783 Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet [aged 31] and Juliana Elizabeth Byron were married at Pirbright, Surrey.

On 21st December 1784 [his son] Robert John Wilmot 3rd Baronet was born to Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet [aged 32] and Juliana Elizabeth Byron in Petersham, Surrey. He married 1806 Anne-Beatrix Horton.

In or before 1789 [his son-in-law] Valentine Browne 2nd Earl of Kenmare and [his daughter] Augusta Anne Wilmot Countess of Kenmare were married. He the son of Valentine Browne 1st Earl of Kenmare [aged 34].

In 1795 Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet [aged 43] and Marianne Howard [aged 19] were married. She the heiress of her father Charles Howard of Pipe Grange, Staffordshire. The difference in their ages was 24 years.

In 1796 Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet [aged 44] was appointed High Sheriff of Derbyshire. They had four other sons and two daughters

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

In 1805 [his son] Montagu Wilmot was born to Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet [aged 53] and Marianne Howard [aged 29].

In 1806 [his son] Robert John Wilmot 3rd Baronet [aged 21] and [his daughter-in-law] Anne-Beatrix Horton were married.

On 23rd July 1834 Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet [aged 82] died. His son Robert [aged 49] succeeded 3rd Baronet Wilmot of Osmaston in Derbyshire.

[his daughter] Augusta Anne Wilmot Countess of Kenmare was born to Robert Meade Wilmot 2nd Baronet and Marianne Howard in Petersham, Surrey. She married in or before 1789 Valentine Browne 2nd Earl of Kenmare, son of Valentine Browne 1st Earl of Kenmare.
