Edward Littleton 4th Baronet 1727-1812

Around 1727 Edward Littleton 4th Baronet was born to Fisher Littleton [aged 49] and Frances Whitehall.

In 1727 [his father] Fisher Littleton [aged 49] and [his mother] Frances Whitehall were married.

In May 1740 [his father] Fisher Littleton [aged 62] died.

On 2nd January 1741 Edward Littleton 3rd Baronet died. His half first cousin Edward [aged 14] succeeded 4th Baronet Littleton of Pillaton Hall.

In 1752 Edward Littleton 4th Baronet [aged 25] and Frances Horton were married.

Around 1757 William Hogarth [aged 59]. Portrait of Inigo Jones. The portrait was commissioned by Edward Littleton 4th Baronet [aged 30] when he was refurbishing his house Teddesley Hall, Penkridge.

In 1762 Edward Littleton 4th Baronet [aged 35] was appointed High Sheriff of Staffordshire.

In 1781 [his wife] Frances Horton died.

On 8th April 1784 Edward Littleton 4th Baronet [aged 57] was elected MP Staffordshire unopposed.

On 18th May 1812 Edward Littleton 4th Baronet [aged 85] died without issue. Baronet Littleton of Pillaton Hall extinct. His estates were inherited by his great-nephew Edward John Walhouse aka Littleton 1st Baron Hatherton [aged 21] who took the surname Littleton.
