On 25th April 1732 [his father] William Morden aka Harbord 1st Baronet [aged 36] and [his mother] Elizabeth Britiffe Lady Harbord were married.
On 26th January 1734 Harbord Morden aka Harbord 1st Baron Suffield was born to William Morden aka Harbord 1st Baronet [aged 38] and Elizabeth Britiffe Lady Harbord at Harbord Morden Thorpe, Suffolk.
In 1742 [his father] William Morden aka Harbord 1st Baronet [aged 46] changed his surname from Morden to Hardbord in line with the conditions of the will of his [his grandmother] mother's brother Harbord Cropley aka Harbord [aged 67] who had changed his name from Cropley to Harbord in 1710. By changing his name to Harbord William's son Harbord [aged 7], who had been named after his great-uncle became Harbord Harbord,
In 1756 Harbord Morden aka Harbord 1st Baron Suffield [aged 21] was elected MP Norwich.
In 1760 Harbord Morden aka Harbord 1st Baron Suffield [aged 25] and Mary Assheton Baroness Suffield were married.
On 21st August 1766 [his son] William Assheton Harbord 2nd Baron Suffield was born to Harbord Morden aka Harbord 1st Baron Suffield [aged 32] and [his wife] Mary Assheton Baroness Suffield. He married before 7th February 1821 his half second cousin Caroline Hobart Baroness Suffield, daughter of John Hobart 2nd Earl Buckinghamshire and Mary Anne Drury Countess Buckinghamshire.
On 17th February 1770 [his father] William Morden aka Harbord 1st Baronet [aged 74] died. His son Harbord [aged 36] succeeded 2nd Baronet Harbord of Suffield in Norfolk. [his wife] Mary Assheton Baroness Suffield by marriage Lady Harbord of Suffield in Norfolk.
In November 1781 [his son] Edward Harbord 3rd Baron Suffield was born to Harbord Morden aka Harbord 1st Baron Suffield [aged 47] and [his wife] Mary Assheton Baroness Suffield. He married (1) 1809 Georgiana Venables-Vernon Baroness Suffield, daughter of George Venables-Vernon 2nd Baron Vernon and Jane Georgiana Fauquier Baroness Vernon, and had issue (2) 12th September 1826 Emily Harriey Shirley Baroness Suffield and had issue.
In 1786 Harbord Morden aka Harbord 1st Baron Suffield [aged 51] was created 1st Baron Suffield. [his wife] Mary Assheton Baroness Suffield by marriage Baroness Suffield.
Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke
Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson.

On 4th February 1810 Harbord Morden aka Harbord 1st Baron Suffield [aged 76] died. His son William [aged 43] succeeded 2nd Baron Suffield, 3rd Baronet Harbord of Suffield in Norfolk. Caroline Hobart Baroness Suffield by marriage Baroness Suffield.
