In 1660 [his father] Nicholas Cole 1st Baronet died. His son Ralph [aged 30] succeeded 2nd Baronet Cole of Brancepeth.
In or before 1664 Ralph Cole 2nd Baronet [aged 34] and Catherine Foulis Lady Cole were married. She by marriage Lady Cole of Brancepeth.
On 29th March 1678 Ralph Cole 2nd Baronet [aged 48] was elected MP City of Durham.
In March 1679 Ralph Cole 2nd Baronet [aged 49] was elected MP City of Durham
In or before 1685 [his son] Nicholas Cole and [his daughter-in-law] Elizabeth Milbanke were married.
In 1704 [his wife] Catherine Foulis Lady Cole died.
On 9th August 1704 Ralph Cole 2nd Baronet [aged 74] died. He was buried at St Brandon's Church, Brancepeth. His grandson Nicholas [aged 19] succeeded 3rd Baronet Cole of Brancepeth.
