On 22nd June 1772 Henry George Herbert 2nd Earl Carnarvon was baptised at St George's Church, Hanover Square.

On 6th December 1797 [his brother-in-law] Thomas Reynolds-Moreton 1st Earl Ducie [aged 21] and [his sister] Frances Herbert Baroness Ducie Tortworth [aged 15] were married. She the daughter of [his father] Henry Herbert 1st Earl Carnarvon [aged 56] and [his mother] Elizabeth Alicia Maria Wyndham Countess Carnarvon [aged 45].

On 8th June 1800 [his son] Henry John George Herbert 3rd Earl Carnarvon was born to Henry George Herbert 2nd Earl Carnarvon [aged 28] and [his wife] Elizabeth Kitty Acland Countess Carnarvon [aged 27]. He married 1830 Henrietta Anna Howard-Molyneux-Howard Countess Carnarvon and had issue.

On 5th March 1813 [his wife] Elizabeth Kitty Acland Countess Carnarvon [aged 40] died at Shooter's Hill, Greenwich [Map].

In 1814 Henry George Herbert 2nd Earl Carnarvon [aged 41] was appointed Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.

On 10th February 1826 [his mother] Elizabeth Alicia Maria Wyndham Countess Carnarvon [aged 73] died.

In 1830 [his sister] Frances Herbert Baroness Ducie Tortworth [aged 48] died.

In 1830 Henry John George Herbert 3rd Earl Carnarvon [aged 29] and Henrietta Anna Howard-Molyneux-Howard Countess Carnarvon [aged 25] were married. He the son of Henry George Herbert 2nd Earl Carnarvon [aged 57] and Elizabeth Kitty Acland Countess Carnarvon.

On 16th April 1833 Henry George Herbert 2nd Earl Carnarvon [aged 60] died at Grosvenor Square, Belgravia. He was buried at Burghclere, Hampshire. His son Henry [aged 32] succeeded 3rd Earl Carnarvon, 3rd Baron Porchester of Highclere in Hampshire. Henrietta Anna Howard-Molyneux-Howard Countess Carnarvon [aged 28] by marriage Countess Carnarvon.
