Before 1485 Gilbert Talbot [aged 32] and [his mother] Etheldreda Audrey Cotton [aged 30] were married. He the son of [his grandfather] John Talbot 2nd Earl of Shrewsbury and [his grandmother] Elizabeth Butler Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford.
Around 1485 John Talbot of Albrighton was born to Gilbert Talbot [aged 33] and Etheldreda Audrey Cotton [aged 31] at Albrighton, Shropshire.
Around 1505 [his mother] Etheldreda Audrey Cotton [aged 51] died.
Before 1510 John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 24] and Margaret Troutbeck [aged 17] were married. They were fourth cousins.
In 1513 [his son] John Talbot was born to John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 28] and [his wife] Margaret Troutbeck [aged 21] He married 18th February 1544 Frances Giffard and had issue.
In 1515 [his daughter] Anne Talbot was born to John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 30] and [his wife] Margaret Troutbeck [aged 23].
Around 1517 [his daughter] Constance Talbot was born to John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 32] and [his wife] Margaret Troutbeck [aged 25] She married 30th March 1533 George Blount and had issue.
On 16th August 1517 Gilbert Talbot [aged 65] died. He was buried at Whitchurch, Shropshire.
After 11th July 1521 John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 36] and Elizabeth Wrottesley [aged 7] were married. The difference in their ages was 29 years.
Around 15th July 1521 [his wife] Margaret Troutbeck [aged 29] died.
In 1528 John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 43] was appointed High Sheriff of Shropshire.
On 30th March 1533 George Blount [aged 20] and [his daughter] Constance Talbot [aged 16] were married.
Around 1537 [his daughter] Margaret Talbot was born to John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 52] and [his wife] Elizabeth Wrottesley [aged 23]. She married 1. 1579 her fifth cousin Richard Lygon 2. after 1584 William Blount 3. after 1590 her fifth cousin once removed Arnold Lygon.
In 1538 John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 53] was appointed High Sheriff of Shropshire.
In 1542 John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 57] was appointed High Sheriff of Shropshire.
On 18th February 1544 [his son] John Talbot [aged 31] and [his daughter-in-law] Frances Giffard [aged 24] were married. The date somewhat suspect given they had a daughter Jane in 1531 but her birthdate may be wrong.
In 1549 [his son] John Talbot was born to John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 64] and [his wife] Elizabeth Wrottesley [aged 35] at Salwarpe, Worcestershire. He married 13th September 1574 Olive Sharington and had issue.
On 10th September 1549 John Talbot of Albrighton [aged 64] died at Albrighton, Shropshire. He was buried at St John the Baptist Church, Bromsgrove [Map].
On 10th May 1558 [his former wife] Elizabeth Wrottesley [aged 44] died.
Gilbert Talbot and Elizabeth Greystoke Baroness Scrope Masham were married. He the son of [his grandfather] John Talbot 2nd Earl of Shrewsbury and [his grandmother] Elizabeth Butler Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford. They were third cousin once removed. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward I of England. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
