Biography of John Reade 6th Baronet 1762-1789

On 25 Jun 1752 [his grandfather] Thomas Reade 4th Baronet (age 69) died. He was buried at St Mary the Virgin Church, Shipton-under-Wychwood. His son [his father] John Reade 5th Baronet (age 31) succeeded 5th Baronet Reade of Barton in Berkshire.
On 18 Oct 1759 [his father] John Reade 5th Baronet (age 38) and [his mother] Harriet Barker were married at St Ethedreda's Chapel Ely House.
On 08 Mar 1762 John Reade 6th Baronet was born to John Reade 5th Baronet (age 40) and Harriet Barker. He was a twin. He was baptised at St George's Church, Hanover Square.
On 29 May 1773 Chandos Hoskyns 5th Baronet (age 53) died. His son [his future brother-in-law] Hungerford Hoskyns 6th Baronet succeeded 6th Baronet Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire.
On 09 Nov 1773 [his father] John Reade 5th Baronet (age 52) died at Golden Square Soho. He was buried at St Mary the Virgin Church, Shipton-under-Wychwood. His son John Reade 6th Baronet (age 11) succeeded 6th Baronet Reade of Barton in Berkshire.
On 14 Dec 1774 [his future brother-in-law] Hungerford Hoskyns 6th Baronet and Catherine Stanhope Lady Hoskyns were married. She by marriage Lady Hoskyns of Harewood in Herefordshire. They were third cousins.
On 13 Jan 1784 John Reade 6th Baronet (age 21) and Jane Hoskyns Lady Reade (age 29) were married at St Marylebone Church.
On 13 Jan 1785 [his son] John Chandos Reade 7th Baronet was born to John Reade 6th Baronet (age 22) and [his wife] Jane Hoskyns Lady Reade (age 30). He was baptised at St Marylebone Church.
In 1787 John Reade 6th Baronet (age 24) alienated the manor of Barton and the ruins of Barton Court (which had been in the family since 1547), and purchased an estate at Oddington in Gloucestershire.
On 07 Nov 1789 John Reade 6th Baronet (age 27) died. He was buried at St Mary the Virgin Church, Shipton-under-Wychwood. His son [his son] John Chandos Reade 7th Baronet (age 4) succeeded 7th Baronet Reade of Barton in Berkshire.
On 18 Jan 1870 John Reade 6th Baronet matriculated Magdalen College, Oxford University as a Gentleman Commoner. On 02 Jul 1783 John Reade 6th Baronet (age 21) was awarded Master of Arts: Oxford University.
