Biography of Charles Kemeys 4th Baronet 1688-1735
In 1658 [his grandfather] Charles Kemeys 2nd Baronet died. His son [his father] Charles Kemeys 3rd Baronet succeeded 3rd Baronet Kemeys of Kevanmabley in Glamorganshire.
In 1677 [his father] Charles Kemeys 3rd Baronet and [his mother] Mary Wharton (age 15) were married.
On 23 Nov 1688 Charles Kemeys 4th Baronet was born to Charles Kemeys 3rd Baronet and Mary Wharton (age 26).
After 15 Sep 1700 [his father] Charles Kemeys 3rd Baronet and [his step-mother] Mary Lewis Lady Aubrey (age 51) were married. She the daughter of William Lewis of Boarstall and Margaret Banastre Duchess of Richmond.
In Dec 1702 [his father] Charles Kemeys 3rd Baronet died. His son Charles Kemeys 4th Baronet (age 14) succeeded 4th Baronet Kemeys of Kevanmabley in Glamorganshire.
In May 1706 Charles Kemeys 4th Baronet (age 17) was admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge University [Map].
In 1713 Charles Kemeys 4th Baronet (age 24) was elected MP Monmouthshire.
On 22 Feb 1716 Charles Kemeys 4th Baronet (age 27) was elected MP Glamorganshire.
In 1722 Charles Kemeys 4th Baronet (age 33) was elected MP Glamorganshire.
In 1727 Charles Kemeys 4th Baronet (age 38) was elected MP Glamorganshire.
In 1735 Charles Kemeys 4th Baronet (age 46) died unmarried. Baronet Kemeys of Kevanmabley in Glamorganshire extinct. His estates passed to his sister [his sister] Jane Kemeys Lady Tynte (age 50) who had married John Tynte 2nd Baronet in 1704.
