George St Paul 1st Baronet educated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University.

In 1562 George St Paul 1st Baronet was born to Thomas St Paul at Snarford.

In 1580 George St Paul 1st Baronet (age 18) entered at Lincoln's Inn.

On 06 Apr 1580 [his future brother-in-law] William Wray 1st Baronet (age 25) and Lucy Montagu were married.

On 29 Aug 1582 [his father] Thomas St Paul died. He was buried at St Lawrence's Church, Snarford [Map]. Monument to Thomas St Paul and Faith Grantham. Fine freestanding tomb chest with canopy. The sides of the tomb chest have acanthus Pilasters, the panels between contain wreathed shields. The full length recumbent albaster effigies show the man in full plate armour holding sword and prayerbook, head on helm, feet on a cushion with flowers. His wife is in a long dress with cloak and close fitting hat, holding a bible. The inscription runs round the top edge of the chest. The canopy is supported on six pillars, those at the angles being circular and bulbous, the others in the form of obelisks decorated with fishscale Paterae, with elaborate Ionic Capitals with roses in the necking. The entablature has an egg and dart frieze. Above the heads of the columns are five female and one male weepers. At the centre of the canopy is a raised altar bearing shields and surmounted by the kneeling figure of the heir clad in armour. In front kneels a larger figure of a girl. the monument is all painted and gilded.

Thomas St Paul: he was appointed High Sheriff of Lincolnshire. he and Faith Grantham were married. In 1580 Thomas St Paul was knighted by Queen Elizabeth I of England and Ireland at Richmond, Surrey.

In 1583 George St Paul 1st Baronet (age 21) and Frances Wray Countess Warwick were married.

In 1588 George St Paul 1st Baronet (age 26) was appointed High Sheriff of Lincolnshire.

On 14 Jun 1595 Godfrey Foljambe (age 36) died at Bedale. On 12 Feb 1623 [his sister-in-law] Isabel Wray Baroness Darcy died. Monument in St Mary and All Saints Church, Chesterfield [Map] to Godfrey Foljambe (age 36) and Isabel Wray Baroness Darcy.

Godfrey Foljambe: Godfrey Foljambe and Isabel Wray Baroness Darcy were married. On 21 Nov 1558 he was born to Godfrey Foljambe and Troth Tyrwhitt at Walton.

Isabel Wray Baroness Darcy: she was born to Christopher Wray and Anne Girlington. After 14 Jun 1595 William Bowes and she were married. On 07 May 1617 John Darcy 3rd Baron Darcy Aston and she were married. She by marriage Baroness Darcy of Aston.

After 14 Jun 1595 William Bowes (age 44) and [his sister-in-law] Isabel Wray Baroness Darcy were married.

Around 1596 [his daughter] Mattathia St Paul was born to George St Paul 1st Baronet (age 34) and [his wife] Frances Wray Countess Warwick.

In Sep 1597 [his daughter] Mattathia St Paul (age 1) died at Coventry [Map]. She was buried at St Lawrence's Church, Snarford [Map].

Before May 1601 [his brother-in-law] William Wray 1st Baronet (age 46) and Frances Drury Lady Glentworth (age 24) were married. The difference in their ages was 21 years.

In 1607 George St Paul 1st Baronet (age 45) was knighted by King James I of England and Ireland and VI of Scotland (age 40).

Nov 1611 Creation of Baronets

On 28 Oct 1613 George St Paul 1st Baronet (age 51) died. Baronet St Paul in Snarford in Lincolnshire extinct.

After 28 Oct 1613. Monument to George St Paul 1st Baronet (deceased) and [his former wife] Frances Wray Countess Warwick. at St Lawrence's Church, Snarford [Map]. Elizabethan Period. A base supporting the reclining figures of the deceased with composite Pillars supporting an entablature and armorial termination. In the base is a central semi-circular niche containing a carving of the deceased's daughter, flanked by niches containing mourning putti. Above on the lower step is a figure of Frances in full mourning dress with formal Ruff and hat, reclining on a cushion holding a prayer book. On the upper step he reclines in plate armour with a sword. The figures are contained in a semi-circular headed Recess with roses in the archivolt and on the back wall is an inscribed rectangular panel with scrolls and memento mori. The Pillars to either side support a frieze and entablature from which rise flaming urns and at the angles, and at the centre is a raised achievement of arms flanked by scrolled shields and obelisks. Possibly sculpted by Cornelius Cure.

In 1616 Robert Rich 1st Earl Warwick (age 56) and [his former wife] Frances Wray Countess Warwick were married. She by marriage Baroness Rich of Leez.

Around 1634 [his former wife] Frances Wray Countess Warwick died. She was buried at St Lawrence's Church, Snarford [Map].
