Battle of Hexham

On 18 May 1464 [her grandfather] Robert Hungerford 3rd Baron Hungerford 1st Baron Moleyns (age 33) was executed at Newcastle upon Tyne [Map] having been captured at the Battle of Hexham. He was buried at the Hungerford Chapel at Salisbury Cathedral [Map]. His daughter Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns became the ward of [her future father-in-law] William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings (age 33) whose son [her future husband] Edward Hastings 2nd Baron Hastings Baron Botreaux, Hungerford and Moleyns she subsequently married.

Around 1466 Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns was born to Thomas Hungerford and Anne Percy (age 22) at Salisbury.

Execution of Warwick's Supporters

On 17 Jan 1469 Warwick's supporters were executed in Salisbury Marketplace [Map] in the presence of King Edward IV of England (age 26):

[her father] Thomas Hungerford was beheaded. His father [her grandfather] Robert Hungerford 3rd Baron Hungerford 1st Baron Moleyns had been executed five years previously after the Battle of Hexham.

Henry Courtenay was beheaded.

On 04 Sep 1475 Edward Hastings 2nd Baron Hastings Baron Botreaux, Hungerford and Moleyns (age 8) and Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns (age 9) were married. Execution of William Hastings by Richard III

On 13 Jun 1483 King Richard III of England (age 30) arranged a Council meeting at the Tower of London [Map] attended by [her father-in-law] William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings (age 52), Cardinal John Morton (age 63), Archbishop Thomas Rotherham (age 59) and Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham (age 28). During the course of the evening Richgard accused William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings (age 52), Cardinal John Morton (age 63) and Archbishop Thomas Rotherham (age 59) of treasonable conspiracy with the Queen (age 46).

William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings (age 52) was beheaded at Tower Green, Tower of London [Map]. He was buried in North Aisle St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle [Map] next to King Edward IV of England. His son [her husband] Edward Hastings 2nd Baron Hastings Baron Botreaux, Hungerford and Moleyns (age 16) succeeded 2nd Baron Hastings.

Cardinal John Morton (age 63) and Archbishop Thomas Rotherham (age 59) were arrested.

Around 1485 [her daughter] Anne Hastings Countess Derby was born to [her husband] Edward Hastings 2nd Baron Hastings Baron Botreaux, Hungerford and Moleyns (age 18) and Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns (age 19).

On 07 Nov 1485 Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns (age 19) attainder reversed 4th Baroness Hungerford, 2nd Baroness Moleyns.

In 1487 [her son] George Hastings 1st Earl Huntingdon was born to [her husband] Edward Hastings 2nd Baron Hastings Baron Botreaux, Hungerford and Moleyns (age 20) and Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns (age 21) at Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.

Before 1503 [her son-in-law] Thomas Stanley 2nd Earl of Derby (age 18) and [her daughter] Anne Hastings Countess Derby (age 17) were married. She by marriage Countess Derby. They were second cousins. In or before 1506 [her son] William Hastings was born to [her husband] Edward Hastings 2nd Baron Hastings Baron Botreaux, Hungerford and Moleyns (age 39) and Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns (age 39). Date adjusted from 1510 to 1506 to be consistent with father's death.

In 1506 [her son] Ralph Sacheverell was born to [her future husband] Richard Sacheverell Baron Hungerford, Botreaux and Moleyns (age 39) and Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns (age 40) at Ratcliffe on Soar [Map].

On 08 Nov 1506 [her husband] Edward Hastings 2nd Baron Hastings Baron Botreaux, Hungerford and Moleyns (age 39) died. His son [her son] George Hastings 1st Earl Huntingdon (age 19) succeeded 3rd Baron Hastings.

On 01 May 1509 Richard Sacheverell Baron Hungerford, Botreaux and Moleyns (age 42) and Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns (age 43) were married. He by marriage Baron Botreaux, Baron Hungerford, Baron Moleyns. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
