On 25 Feb 1361 [his grandfather] William Jülich V Duke Jülich (age 62) died. His son [his father] William Jülich I Duke Jülich (age 34) succeeded I Duke Jülich. Earl Cambridge extinct. The provenance of this title is vague. It isn't entirely clear when he was created Earl of Cambridge, or whether it was for life only, or if he renounced it; his son didn't succeed to it.
In Dec 1362 [his father] William Jülich I Duke Jülich (age 35) and [his mother] Marie Guelders Duchess Jülich were married. She by marriage Duchess Jülich. They had three children. She the daughter of Reginald "Black" II Duke Guelders and Sophia Berthout Berthout. He the son of William Jülich V Duke Jülich. They were third cousins.
On 05 Mar 1364 William Jülich 3rd Duke Guelders 3rd Duke Jülich was born to William Jülich I Duke Jülich (age 37) and Marie Guelders Duchess Jülich.
On 04 Dec 1371 [his uncle] Reginald III Duke Guelders (age 38) died without issue. The Duke Guelders title passed to his sisters and their husband's resulting in a war of succession with William Jülich 3rd Duke Guelders 3rd Duke Jülich (age 7), son of his sister [his mother] Marie Guelders Duchess Jülich eventually succeeding.
In 1377 William Jülich 3rd Duke Guelders 3rd Duke Jülich (age 12) succeeded 3rd Duke Guelders.
In 1379 William Jülich 3rd Duke Guelders 3rd Duke Jülich (age 14) and Katherine Wittelsbach Duchess Guelders (age 17) were married. She by marriage Duchess Guelders, Duchess Guelders. She the daughter of Albert Wittelsbach I Duke Bavaria (age 42) and Margaret Silesia. He the son of William Jülich I Duke Jülich (age 52) and Marie Guelders Duchess Jülich. They were fourth cousins. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England. 
In 1386 [his sister-in-law] Johanna Wittelsbach (age 24) died.
On 13 Dec 1393 [his father] William Jülich I Duke Jülich (age 66) died. His son William Jülich 3rd Duke Guelders 3rd Duke Jülich (age 29) succeeded 3rd Duke Jülich.
Around 1399 William Jülich 3rd Duke Guelders 3rd Duke Jülich (age 34) was appointed 81st Knight of the Garter by King Richard II of England (age 31).
In 1400 [his wife] Katherine Wittelsbach Duchess Guelders (age 38) died.
On 16 Feb 1402 William Jülich 3rd Duke Guelders 3rd Duke Jülich (age 37) died at Arnhem [Map]. His brother [his brother] Reinald Jülich 4th Duke Guelders 3rd Duke Jülich (age 37) succeeded 4th Duke Guelders, 3rd Duke Jülich.
William Jülich II Count Jülich and [his mother] Marie Guelders Duchess Jülich were married. She by marriage Countess Jülich. She the daughter of Reginald "Black" II Duke Guelders and Sophia Berthout Berthout.
