Adeline Horsey Countess Cardigan: On 24 Dec 1824 she was born to Spencer de Horsey (age 34) and Louisa Rous at 6 Charles Street, Berkeley Square. In 1849 Carlos Luis de Borbón Count Montemolín (age 30) and Adeline Horsey Countess Cardigan (age 24) were betrothed. On 20 Sep 1858 James Brudenell 7th Earl Cardigan (age 60) and Adeline Horsey Countess Cardigan (age 33) were married after having been his mistress. She by marriage Countess Cardigan. The marriages something of a scandal since James Brudenell 7th Earl Cardigan (age 60) had left his first wife; Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 39) refused to have her at court. The difference in their ages was 27 years. He the son of Robert Brudenell 6th Earl Cardigan and Penelope Cooke Countess Cardigan.

On 03 Oct 1936 Coplestone John de Grey Warwick Bampfylde (age 22) died from a fall from his horse shortly after representing his country as a member of the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games fencing team. The Bampfylde Memorial Garden in the churchyard of All Saints' Church, North Molton was created in his memory, being a walled and sunken lawned garden, in the centre of which stands his gravestone inscribed: In memory of Coplestone John de Grey Warwick Bampfylde, Royal Horse Guards, beloved only son of the 4th Baron Poltimore. Died 3 October 1936 in his 23rd year.

Frederick Johnstone 7th Baronet died from a fall from his horse. His son Frederick Johnstone 8th Baronet succeeded 7th Baronet Johnstone of Westerhall in Dumfries.

Around Oct Edward Weld died from a fall from his horse. He had failed to sign his will so his estate went to his brother Thomas. His widow Maria Anne Smythe aka "Mrs Fitzherbert" was left nothing.
