On 7th January 1131 [his father] Canute Lavard [aged 34] died.
On 14th January 1131 Valdemar "Great" I King of Denmark was born to Canute Lavard [deceased].
In 1154 Valdemar "Great" I King of Denmark [aged 22] succeeded I King of Denmark.
Before 1159 Valdemar "Great" I King of Denmark [aged 27] and Sophia of Minsk [aged 18] were married.
Around 1163 [his son] Canute VI King of Denmark was born to Valdemar "Great" I King of Denmark [aged 31] and [his wife] Sophia of Minsk [aged 23].
On 9th May 1170 [his son] King Valdemar II of Denmark was born to Valdemar "Great" I King of Denmark [aged 39] and [his wife] Sophia of Minsk [aged 30]. He married (1) 1205 Dagmar of Bohemia and had issue (2) 1214 Berengaria Burgundy Queen Consort Denmark, daughter of Sancho "Populator" I King Portugal and Dulce Barcelona Queen Consort Portugal, and had issue.
In 1174 [his daughter] Ingeborg Estridsen Queen Consort France was born to Valdemar "Great" I King of Denmark [aged 42]. She married (1) 15th August 1193 King Philip II of France, son of Louis VII King of the Franks and Adèle Queen of the Franks.
Around 1180 [his daughter] Helena of Denmark Duchess of Lüneburg was born to Valdemar "Great" I King of Denmark [aged 48]. She married April 1202 William of Winchester, son of Henry "Lion" Welf XII Duke Saxony III Duke Bavaria and Matilda Plantagenet Duchess Saxony, and had issue.
On 12th May 1182 Valdemar "Great" I King of Denmark [aged 51] died. His son Canute [aged 19] succeeded VI King of Denmark.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness.
