She the daughter of [her grandfather] John I Count Armagnac [aged 50] and [her grandmother] Beatrice Clermont Countess Armagnac [aged 51]. He the son of King John "The Good" II of France [aged 42] and Bonne Luxemburg Queen Consort France. They were third cousins. He a great x 5 grandson of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England.

Around 1375 Marie Valois I Duchess Auverge was born to John Valois 1st Duke Berry [aged 34] and Joanne Armagnac Duchess Berry [aged 28].

On 1st March 1383 Amadeus "Green Count" Savoy VI Count Savoy [aged 49] died. His son Amadeus [aged 23] succeeded VII Count Savoy. [her sister] Bonne Valois Countess Armagnac and Savoy [aged 18] by marriage Countess Savoy.

On 29th May 1386 Louis Chatillon and Marie Valois I Duchess Auverge [aged 11] were married. She the daughter of John Valois 1st Duke Berry [aged 45] and Joanne Armagnac Duchess Berry [aged 39]. He the son of Guy Chatillon II Count Blois and Marie Dampierre Countess Blois. They were third cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King Henry III of England.

On 20th July 1387 [her future husband] Philip Artois Count of Eu [aged 30] succeeded Robert Count Eu.

In 1389 [her father] John Valois 1st Duke Berry [aged 48] and [her step-mother] Joan II Countess of Auvergne Duchess Berry [aged 11] were married. She by marriage Duchess Berry. On 15th July 1391 [her husband] Louis Chatillon died.

She married (1) 20th June 1413 her first cousin once removed Philip Valois II Count Nevers, son of Philip "Bold" Valois II Duke Burgundy and Margaret Dampierre Duchess Burgundy, and had issue (2) 30th November 1424 her second cousin Philip "Good" Valois III Duke Burgundy, son of John "Fearless" Valois Duke Burgundy and Margaret Wittelsbach Duchess Burgundy.

In 1397 [her daughter] Catherine Artois was born to [her husband] Philip Artois Count of Eu [aged 40] and Marie Valois I Duchess Auverge [aged 22]. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Henry III of England.

On 16th June 1397 [her husband] Philip Artois Count of Eu [aged 40] died at Turkey.

On 23rd December 1397 [her son] Philip Artois [aged 4] died. His brother Charles [aged 3] succeeded Count Eu.

In 1400 John Bourbon I Duke Bourbon [aged 19] and Marie Valois I Duchess Auverge [aged 25] were married at Paris [Map]. She by marriage Duchess Bourbon. She the daughter of John Valois 1st Duke Berry [aged 59] and Joanne Armagnac Duchess Berry. He the son of Louis Bourbon II Duke Bourbon [aged 62] and Anne Auvergne Duchess Bourbon [aged 42]. In 1401 [her son] Charles Bourbon I Duke Bourbon was born to [her husband] John Bourbon I Duke Bourbon [aged 20] and Marie Valois I Duchess Auverge [aged 26]. He married his second cousin Agnes Valois Duchess Bourbon, daughter of John "Fearless" Valois Duke Burgundy and Margaret Wittelsbach Duchess Burgundy, and had issue.

On 10th August 1410 [her father-in-law] Louis Bourbon II Duke Bourbon [aged 73] died. His son [her husband] John [aged 29] succeeded I Duke Bourbon.

In 1412 [her son] Louis Bourbon [aged 9] died.

On 20th June 1413 [her son-in-law] Philip Valois II Count Nevers [aged 23] and Bonne Artois Duchess Burgundy [aged 17] were married at Beaumont en Artois. She by marriage Countess Nevers. She the daughter of Philip Artois Count of Eu and Marie Valois I Duchess Auverge [aged 38]. He the son of Philip "Bold" Valois II Duke Burgundy and Margaret Dampierre Duchess Burgundy. On 15th June 1416 [her father] John Valois 1st Duke Berry [aged 75] died. Duke Berry extinct. His daughter Marie [aged 41] succeeded I Duchess Auvergne.

Around 1420 [her daughter] Catherine Artois [aged 23] died.

On 30th November 1424 [her son-in-law] Philip "Good" Valois III Duke Burgundy [aged 28] and Bonne Artois Duchess Burgundy [aged 28] were married. She by marriage Duchess Burgundy. She the daughter of Philip Artois Count of Eu and Marie Valois I Duchess Auverge [aged 49]. He the son of John "Fearless" Valois Duke Burgundy and Margaret Wittelsbach Duchess Burgundy. On 17th September 1425 [her daughter] Bonne Artois Duchess Burgundy [aged 29] died.

In June 1434 Marie Valois I Duchess Auverge [aged 59] died.
