On 1st July 1725 Rhoda Delaval was born to Francis Blake Delaval [aged 32] and Rhoda Apreece. She was named after her mother.
On 23rd April 1749 [her grandmother] Sarah Hussey [aged 77] died. Her daughter [her mother] Rhoda Apreece inherited Doddington Hall [Map].

Edward Hussey Delaval: In 1729 he was born to Francis Blake Delaval and Rhoda Apreece. On 17th May 1808 John Delaval 1st Baron Delaval died without surviving male issue. Baron Delaval of Redford in County Wicklow and Baron Delaval of Seaton Delaval in Northumberland extinct. He was buried at Chapel of St Paul, Westminster Abbey [Map]. Edward Hussey Delaval inherited Doddington Hall [Map]. On 14th August 1814 Edward Hussey Delaval died. Sarah Delaval inherited Doddington Hall [Map].
Anne Hussey Delaval: Around 1743 she was born to Francis Blake Delaval and Rhoda Apreece. On 6th October 1759 William Stanhope and she were married. His third wife. The difference in their ages was 41 years. He the son of Philip Stanhope 3rd Earl Chesterfield and Elizabeth Savile.
On 23rd May 1751 Edward Astley 4th Baronet [aged 21] and Rhoda Delaval [aged 25] were married.
On 9th December 1752 [her father] Francis Blake Delaval [aged 59] died after falling down steps at his home Seaton Delaval Hall, Northumberland [Map].
In or before 1755 [her brother] John Delaval 1st Baron Delaval [aged 26] and [her sister-in-law] Susanna Robinson Baroness Delaval [aged 24] were married. They were first cousins.
Around 1755 [her son] Edward Astley was born to [her husband] Edward Astley 4th Baronet [aged 25] and Rhoda Delaval [aged 29]. [her daughter] She died before 12th May 1755 when she was buried at St Matthew's Church Widcombe. Given the close of the dates he may have been a twin. Before 1757 Edward Astley died.
The History of William Marshal was commissioned by his son shortly after William’s death in 1219 to celebrate the Marshal’s remarkable life; it is an authentic, contemporary voice. The manuscript was discovered in 1861 by French historian Paul Meyer. Meyer published the manuscript in its original Anglo-French in 1891 in two books. This book is a line by line translation of the first of Meyer’s books; lines 1-10152. Book 1 of the History begins in 1139 and ends in 1194. It describes the events of the Anarchy, the role of William’s father John, John’s marriages, William’s childhood, his role as a hostage at the siege of Newbury, his injury and imprisonment in Poitou where he met Eleanor of Aquitaine and his life as a knight errant. It continues with the accusation against him of an improper relationship with Margaret, wife of Henry the Young King, his exile, and return, the death of Henry the Young King, the rebellion of Richard, the future King Richard I, war with France, the death of King Henry II, and the capture of King Richard, and the rebellion of John, the future King John. It ends with the release of King Richard and the death of John Marshal.

On 14th April 1755 [her daughter] Editha Rhoda Astley was born to [her husband] Edward Astley 4th Baronet [aged 25] and Rhoda Delaval [aged 29]. She died before 12th May 1755 when she was buried at St Matthew's Church Widcombe.

On 12th September 1756 [her son] Jacob Astley 5th Baronet was born to [her husband] Edward Astley 4th Baronet [aged 26] and Rhoda Delaval [aged 31]. He married 14th January 1789 Hester Browne Lady Astley and had issue.
In 1757 [her son] Francis Astley was born to [her husband] Edward Astley 4th Baronet [aged 27] and Rhoda Delaval [aged 31]. He died shortly after birth.
In 1757 Rhoda Delaval [aged 31] died from childbirth following the birth of her son Francis.
In 1759 [her former husband] Edward Astley 4th Baronet [aged 29] and Anne Milles were married at St Margaret's Church, Westminster [Map].
On 27th March 1802 [her former husband] Edward Astley 4th Baronet [aged 72] died. He was buried at St Peter's Church, Melton Constable [Map]. His son Jacob [aged 45] succeeded 5th Baronet Astley of Hill Morton. Hester Browne Lady Astley [aged 34] by marriage Lady Astley of Hill Morton.
